Christianity is not dependent upon our ability to perform, but on Jesus’ ability to transform us into His image.
No matter where you are today, there is hope, because God loves you, He is rich in mercy, and He desperately desires to fulfill the good plans He has for you.
Jesus calls the unlikely, the rejected, the unworthy. In fact He calls us all to be His disciples. He calls us, not to a complicated system of performance, rules, and rituals, but to simply know God, be loved by Him, to love Him in return, and to give everything we are to Him.
Following Jesus is not complicated, but it is costly. We must abandon our selfish desires and live to love God, love others, and share His hope with our world.
